Interpreting
In Las Vegas and beyond, Judy Jenner offers interpreting services for court, consecutive, escort and community (including medical) interpretation in Spanish and German. In Europe, Dagmar Jenner offers conference (simultaneous), escort and community interpreting services in Spanish, German, English and French.
Judy is a master-level certified Spanish-language court interpreter as certified by the Supreme Court of Nevada and a certified California court interpreter for Spanish. For German, she’s a registered court interpreter in the state of Nevada (visit the court interpreting section for more information). Her interpreting experience includes assignments for the U.S. Department of Commerce, international tradeshows , law firms (depositions and hearings), private family matters, and lengthy escort and community interpretation projects. Judy is a graduate of Connecting Worlds, a 40-hour medical interpreting course that is currently the highest level of formal training in the field. Judy is available for projects in Nevada and can travel as needed and is a member of the American Translators Association (ATA), International Medical Interpreters Association (IMIA), the Nevada Interpreters and Translators Association (NITA). Judy teaches Introduction to Interpretation at the University of San Diego-California’s online certificate for interpretation and interpretation.
Dagmar received a master’s degree in conference interpreting in Spanish and French from the University of Vienna, Austria. Recent highlights of her interpreting experience includes assignments at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime at the UN offices, the 6th Annual OPEC (Organization of Petroleum Exporting Counntries) conference, and an interview with Nobel Prize winner V.S. Naipaul in Vienna as well as assignments for the European Union in Brussels. Dagmar is a European Union-certified conference interpreter (Spanish, English, French into German), which is widely considered to be one of the top conference interpreting credentials in the world. Dagmar is available for assignments in Austria and abroad. She currently teaches a conference interpreting class in the master’s degree program in Spanish/German interpreting at the University of Vienna.
